The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), through its Guidance and Counseling Office, officially commenced its Freshmen Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027 on July 27, 2026, at the Founder’s Hall, SPAMAST Main Campus, Malita, Davao Occidental.
The orientation serves as one of the institution’s first initiatives in welcoming incoming freshmen, providing them with essential information that will help them successfully transition into college life. The activity introduces students to SPAMAST’s academic policies, student services, campus facilities, and institutional values while fostering a sense of belonging within the college community.
Throughout the orientation, students are guided on the importance of academic integrity, student welfare programs, guidance and counseling services, and the responsibilities that come with becoming part of the SPAMAST family. The program also offers an opportunity for freshmen to become familiar with the institution’s culture and expectations, enabling them to begin their academic journey with confidence and preparedness.
By conducting the Freshmen Orientation, SPAMAST reaffirms its commitment to providing a supportive and student-centered learning environment that empowers learners to excel academically, develop holistically, and become responsible future professionals.
This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – Quality Education, promoting inclusive, equitable, and quality education by ensuring that students are well-informed, guided, and equipped for a successful transition into higher education.
