The Institute of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (IFMS) is a founding academic unit of SPAMAST. It integrates aquatic biology, capture and culture fisheries, marine ecology, and environmental science with hands-on training at the college hatchery, wet laboratories, and coastal research station on Malita Bay.
