Students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in Mathematics and Master of Arts in Education (MAED) Mathematics Teaching programs at the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) have made a remarkable mark on the global stage. Under the guidance of their dedicated faculty members, the students successfully presented five research papers at the 10th International Aegean Congress on Innovation Technologies & Engineering, held virtually from October 5-7, 2024, in Izmir, Turkiye via Zoom.

This esteemed event, organized by the Institute of Economic Development and Social Research, highlighted innovative research in a variety of fields, including mathematics education. The selection of these papers underscores the students’ academic rigor and commitment to contributing valuable insights to the discipline.

The following are the titles and authors of the presented papers:

  1. Theorizing Students’ Mathematical Resiliency and Math Performance through Path Analysis

Authors: Mariton Mirantes, Aldwin T. Miranda

  1. Motivational Strategies and Mathematics Performance of College Students

Authors: Mark Anthony G. Baclay, Cristina Dominie M. Cortado, Aldwin T. Miranda
