MALITA, Davao Occidental – Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to internationalization and research excellence, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) actively participated in the 4th Tri-Academic Colloquium 2026: Sharing Session on Research Findings of Lecturers and Students, held on July 22, 2026 with virtual participation through Zoom.
The international academic gathering brought together scholars, researchers, and faculty members from SPAMAST (Philippines), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (Malaysia), Universitas Borneo Tarakan (Indonesia), and Diktisaintek Berdampak (Indonesia). Anchored on the theme, “Strengthening Research Collaboration in Agriculture, Fisheries, and Natural Sciences for Sustainable Development,” the colloquium served as a platform for sharing innovative research findings, exchanging best practices, and fostering stronger academic partnerships across Southeast Asia.
SPAMAST’s participation was facilitated through the collaborative efforts of the Office of Internationalization and External Linkages (OIEL) and the Research Development and Innovation Office (RDI), underscoring the institution’s commitment to expanding its international engagement and advancing research initiatives that address regional and global challenges.
Throughout the colloquium, participants presented research outputs highlighting significant developments in agriculture, fisheries, marine sciences, environmental sustainability, and other natural science disciplines.
