On October 11, 2024, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) attended the academic community of Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC) to celebrate the investiture of Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay as the second College President of DDOSC. The ceremony took place at the DDOSC Activity Center, Poblacion, Compostela, Davao del Oro.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Hon. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, DPA, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Chairman of the DDOSC Board of Trustees. Also in attendance were CHED XI Regional Director, Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, and presidents of other state universities and colleges (SUCs) from across the region and Mindanao.
Representing SPAMAST at the ceremony were College President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Marlyn B. Llameg, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Edelyn S. Albiso, and Legal Officer Atty. Trina Faye Ladores.
The investiture ceremony marked a significant milestone for DDOSC, with Dr. Matunhay assuming leadership to further enhance the institution’s academic excellence and development in the regio
