SPAMAST conducted the first 100 days of Dr. Lynette A. Bontia’s presidency. The event encapsulated Dr. Bontia’s strategic direction, notable accomplishments, and visionary initiatives and progress from September 2023 until the present.
As part of the event, a holy mass began, which set the stage for a gathering that focused not only on achievement but also on values, ethics, and a collective vision, providing the foundation for a future marked by integrity and collective purpose.
It was September 14, 2023 when the SPAMAST Board of Trustees officially declared Dr. Lynette A. Bontia as the sixth president of the college. Supposedly, it was her 100th day as SPAMAST President in the month of December 2023 but due to holidays, the event was moved to the opening of the second semester of the school year 2023-2024.
Over the last 100 days, President Bontia has presented a comprehensive overview of the college’s accomplishments. It also provides an overview of the growth and development of the administration, which continues to support both academic and administrative programs and plans for the future as a transformative higher education institution in the region and beyond.
Along with the president’s presentation, the following salient operations and directions were presented, such as: the strategic directions for 2024 and the college performance-based indicators by the Vice-President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Edelyn S. Albiso, the quality assurance and plans for universityhood by the Director for Quality Assurance, Dr. Jovelyn L. Franca, the proposed SPAMAST organizational structure and the Program Expenditure Classification (PREXC) by the Planning Director, Atty. Ophelia C. Delute, the program expenditure and annual procurement plan by the OIC, chief administrative officer, Mr. Edwin G. Ostique, the newly approved faculty and administrative designations by President Bontia, major academic activities by the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Marlyn B. Llameg, the academic loads for the second semester by the Director for Instruction, Prof. Michelle M. Elemino, the building and room assignments by the Director for Project Development, Engr. Cherelyn P. Condinato.
This program provides strategic directions and an overview of SPAMAST’s activities, encouraging employee collaboration as well as making insightful recommendations regarding the college’s success as a higher education institution.
