The Association of SPAMAST Administrative Personnel (ASAP) extended its support to the academic units and administrative personnel of the Southern Philippines Agri-Business, Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) through the distribution of printers, rice, and eggs during an activity held at the SPAMAST Lecture Hall at 9:30 a.m.
Led by the ASAP Board of Directors, the initiative provided printers to the different institutes of the College, while ASAP members received essential food assistance consisting of 10 kilograms of rice and one tray of eggs each.
Deans and designated representatives from the various institutes personally received the printers on behalf of their respective academic units. The equipment is expected to support the institutes’ day-to-day administrative and academic operations, particularly in addressing printing and documentation needs.
Meanwhile, the distribution of rice and eggs served as a form of assistance and appreciation to ASAP members for their continued service and contributions to the institution.
The initiative reflects ASAP’s commitment to fostering a culture of collective support, shared responsibility, and concern for the welfare of SPAMAST personnel. By extending assistance to both academic units and administrative employees, the association underscores the importance of working together to respond to practical needs within the institution.
More than a distribution activity, the initiative demonstrates the value of organizational solidarity—where resources are shared and collective efforts are translated into meaningful support for the SPAMAST community.
The activity contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by promoting a supportive work environment and contributing to personnel welfare; SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by strengthening organizational support, responsive institutional practices, and a culture of shared responsibility; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through collective action and cooperation among members of the SPAMAST community.
Through initiatives such as this, ASAP reinforces the principle that a strong institution is built on people who support one another, organizations that respond to shared needs, and partnerships that translate collective efforts into meaningful action.
