SPAMAST Honors 2025 LEFP Passers in Recognition Program

The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) held a recognition program for the 2025 Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals (LEFP) passers on November 10, 2025 at the SPAMAST Founder’s Hall in Malita, Davao Occidental.

The event featured invited resource speaker Mrs. Rove Mae Domogho-Trinidad, a Registered Fisheries Professional, who inspired the passers with her experiences and professional journey. SPAMAST President, Dr. Lynette A. Bontia also graced the ceremony, delivering a warm and encouraging message that celebrated the accomplishments of the new fisheries professionals and motivated them to strive for excellence in the field. Dr. Marlyn B. Llameg, Vice President for Academic Affairs, also conveyed an encouraging message, emphasizing the institution’s continuous support for academic excellence and professional growth.

During the program, the passers shared their heartfelt stories reflecting on the challenges they encountered, the joy they felt upon receiving the positive results, and the gratitude they owed to the people who supported them. They expressed deep appreciation to their parents, loved ones, faculty members of the Institute of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, and friends whose constant guidance and encouragement fueled their success.

As SPAMAST continues to uphold academic excellence and produce competent fisheries professionals, the institution strengthens its commitment to two key Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing accessible, high-quality, and industry-relevant learning; and SDG 14 (Life Below Water) by preparing graduates who will champion marine conservation, sustainable fisheries, and the protection of aquatic ecosystems for future generations.
