SPAMAST Showcases Local Products at Provincial Tourism Summit 2025

Demonstrating its strong support for local development and tourism promotion, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) proudly joined the Provincial Tourism Summit 2025 held on September 17–20, 2025, at the ABC Gymnasium, Malita, Davao Occidental.

Anchored on the theme “Expanding Horizons: Strengthening Collaborations, Elevating Davao Occidental Tourism,” the event served as a vital platform for SPAMAST to highlight its innovative student-led products and enterprise initiatives that contribute to both community livelihood and the growing tourism industry of the province.

As part of the summit, SPAMAST proudly displayed a variety of products developed through its Business Enterprise Development Office (BEDO) and student initiatives. These included salted eggs, fresh eggs in different sizes (from jumbo to small), home-made vinegar, brined bangus, bangus in oil, and calamansi nip with ginger. In addition, the institution also featured eco-friendly and creative merchandise such as tote bags, wallets, tumblers, and other locally crafted items.

SPAMAST’s participation underscored its continuing commitment to support local industries, showcase student innovation, and promote sustainable business practices aligned with Davao Occidental’s tourism and economic development goals.
