SPAMAST Officials Join 2025 PASUC Midterm Convention and General Assembly

𝗦𝗠𝗫 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟵𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — Key officials from the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) participated in the 2025 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Midterm Convention and General Assembly held at the SMX Convention Center.

With the theme “𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲,” the convention gathered leaders from various state universities and colleges (SUCs) across the country to discuss strategic initiatives that would strengthen public higher education in the Philippines.

Representing SPAMAST were Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, SPAMAST President; Dr. Aldwin T. Miranda; Dr. Grace D. Buencillo; Dr. Edelyn S. Albiso; Prof. Rommel Cabalquinto; and Dr. Marlyn B. Llameg, Vice President for Academic Affairs. Their participation highlighted SPAMAST’s commitment to advancing institutional development and aligning with national goals for educational innovation and sustainability.

The convention served as a platform for collaboration and exchange of best practices among SUCs, with sessions focusing on leadership, academic reforms, research and development, and community engagement.

SPAMAST’s active involvement in this significant gathering reflects its continuing pursuit of excellence and meaningful contributions to the higher education landscape of the country.
