SPAMAST President Graced Kick-off Police Community Relations Month in Davao Occidental

𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝘼, 𝘿𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙊 𝙊𝘾𝘾𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙇 — In a stirring display of unity and shared purpose, Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, President of the Southern Philippines Agribusiness and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), graced the opening ceremony of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month as Guest of Honor and Speaker on July 1, 2025. The event, held at the Davao Occidental Police Provincial Office (DOcPPO) Covered Court in Brgy. Kidalapong, bore the national theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka!” and highlighted the renewed commitment of the police and public to work hand-in-hand in building safer communities.

Dr. Bontia’s presence was warmly welcomed by police personnel and community members alike, with Provincial Director Police Colonel Sherwin M. Butil expressing gratitude for her participation. As a respected academic leader and advocate for social engagement, Dr. Bontia delivered an inspiring address that underscored the vital role of collaboration between law enforcement and educational institutions in fostering trust, civic responsibility, and peacebuilding.
