In a solemn display of commitment and institutional pride, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) held the official oath-taking ceremony for its newly hired faculty and administrative personnel on May 15, 2025, to formally welcome its newly appointed personnel at the Office of the President. Presided over by the College President, Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, the event was a celebration of fresh beginnings and renewed commitment to the institution’s mission of excellence in public service and education. The program opened with a solemn invocation led by one of the newly inducted members, followed by an inspiring address from Dr. Bontia, who emphasized the profound responsibility of serving with purpose, heart, and integrity.
The human resources office introduced the latest roster of new appointees to the SPAMAST family, namely: Ms. Jennellie G. Gatmaitan, Ms. Shella Mae T. Galve, Mr. Bernard Jason D. Pacia, Mr. Levi Ivan T. Alfaro, and Mr. Garcel A. Gelves —individuals whose varied academic, professional, and personal backgrounds reflect a tapestry of competence, passion, and promise. From graduates of prestigious universities and colleges to professionals with industry-aligned expertise, each appointee stood as an embodiment to the institution’s ongoing pursuit of quality and relevance in its workforce. A moving response was delivered by Mr. Bernard Jason D. Pacia, voicing collective gratitude and a shared determination to contribute meaningfully to the growth and dynamism of the institution.
