The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) has been recommended for recertification to ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System (QMS) following the recent ISO recertification audit held from September 18 to 20, 2024. This announcement was made by SOCOTEC Lead Auditor, Engr. Billy Joel B. Sadangsal, during the closing meeting of the audit.
SPAMAST’s top management, led by College President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, along with the QMS Committee and process owners, expressed their satisfaction with the recertification recommendation and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring full compliance with all necessary standards to maintain the certification. The recommendation was granted following a rigorous evaluation of the institution’s adherence to ISO 9001:2015 certification requirements, emphasizing its quality management practices, operational processes, and commitment to client satisfaction.
