MALITA, DAVAO OCCIDENTAL | October 20, 2026 — The Southern Philippines Agribusiness and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) welcomed the Blessed Virgin Mary to its campus through a Marian Visitation and Holy Mass held at the SPAMAST Auditorium on October 20, 2026.
The Marian visitation served as a meaningful occasion for the SPAMAST community to gather in faith, prayer, and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The celebration of the Holy Eucharist provided an opportunity for reflection, thanksgiving, and spiritual renewal among members of the academic community.
The presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary on campus also reminded the community of the virtues of humility, compassion, obedience, and service. These values inspire faculty members, administrative personnel, and students to cultivate stronger relationships, demonstrate kindness, and fulfill their respective responsibilities with integrity and dedication.
Beyond its religious significance, the activity highlighted the importance of holistic development in higher education, recognizing that spiritual well-being and moral formation contribute to building a compassionate, respectful, and values-driven academic community.
