STA. MARIA, Davao Occidental — In line with the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), employees of the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) participated in a team-building activity at Splash Blue Beach Resort, Sta. Maria, Davao Occidental, on September 30, 2026.

Anchored on the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the activity highlighted the importance of teamwork, unity, collaboration, and mutual respect among public servants in fulfilling their shared commitment to public service.

Through interactive activities and team-based challenges, the employees were given opportunities to strengthen interpersonal relationships, enhance communication, and foster a deeper sense of camaraderie across offices and units. The gathering also provided a meaningful break from their daily responsibilities, allowing employees to build stronger connections while promoting a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Beyond recreation, the activity underscored the value of collective effort in achieving institutional goals. It recognized that delivering quality public service requires not only individual competence and dedication but also the ability of employees to work harmoniously toward a common purpose.

The activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by promoting employee wellness, recreation, and positive social connections; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by fostering a healthy, supportive, and productive workplace; and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by strengthening teamwork, accountability, and institutional effectiveness. Through initiatives that prioritize employee well-being and professional solidarity, SPAMAST reaffirms its commitment to building a united, empowered, and service-oriented workforce dedicated to serving the Filipino people.
