A new chapter of service begins at SPAMAST. With renewed commitment and a shared sense of responsibility, newly hired and promoted employees of the South Philippine Agri-Business, Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) officially took their oath of office on September 10, 2026, at the SPAMAST Lecture Hall, marking another step toward building a stronger, more responsive, and service-driven institution.
Presided over by SPAMAST President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, the ceremony formally welcomed new members of the SPAMAST workforce, including personnel assigned to the Auxiliary Services Office and Extension Office, as well as additional faculty members who will contribute to the College’s continuing pursuit of quality education, extension services, and institutional excellence.
The ceremony served not only as a formal assumption of responsibilities but also as a reminder of the trust and accountability entrusted to every government employee. Through their respective roles, the newly hired and promoted personnel are expected to uphold professionalism, integrity, efficiency, and a strong commitment to public service.
As SPAMAST continues to rise above the waves and sail toward endless possibilities, the addition and promotion of dedicated personnel further reinforce the institution’s collective pursuit of excellence and responsive service to its students, stakeholders, and communities.
The Oath-Taking Ceremony underscores SPAMAST’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening its workforce and welcoming competent and dedicated personnel who will contribute to quality instruction, extension services, and institutional support and to Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by promoting decent employment, professional growth, and a productive workforce. It also supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by strengthening institutional capacity, accountability, and ethical public service—advancing SPAMAST’s commitment to building a competent workforce dedicated to serving the public with excellence and integrity.
