The Philippines holds the ASEAN Chairship for 2026, hosting the bloc's meetings and summits through the year. The chairship's logo builds its message from local symbols: a rice stalk with eleven grains for every member state, a woven pattern for regional unity, a wave for maritime cooperation, and a balangay boat for a shared journey forward.

"Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon" — a tool for research, a bridge to the wealth of information.

Every August, the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) leads National Language Month under Proclamation No. 1041, honoring Manuel L. Quezon, the Father of the National Language. The 2026 theme turns toward the present, asking how Filipino and the country's other languages can work alongside AI tools rather than be displaced by them.
