In celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) hosted a series of activities titled “Linggo ng Paglilinang ng Yamang Tao” on September 25, 2024, at the SPAMAST Main Campus in Malita, Davao Occidental.
The event featured a Mini Olympics, where four teams comprised of SPAMAST employees competed in various sports events and traditional Filipino games, known as “larong lahi”. The friendly competition fostered camaraderie and teamwork among staff while promoting physical fitness and well-being.
Alongside the sporting activities, SPAMAST also held a Public Service Caravan, where employees had the opportunity to interact with representatives from banks and other financial institutions. These partners presented their products and services, providing employees a chance to inquire and avail of various financial solutions and benefits.
To further enhance the well-being of SPAMAST employees, a Pampering Day was conducted. Sponsored by the Supreme Student Government of both the Malita and Buhangin Campuses, this event offered free haircuts, manicures, pedicures, and body massages, allowing employees to relax and unwind after the day’s activities.
The celebration aimed to promote the holistic development of SPAMAST’s human resources, focusing on physical wellness, financial literacy, and personal care, in line with the Civil Service Anniversary theme of nurturing the workforce for public service excellence.
