A significant partnership was formalized last August 22,2024 as the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) and Tagum Cooperative signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to provide salary loans to SPAMAST employees. The signing ceremony took place at 1:00 PM at the SPAMAST Administrative Building in Malita, Davao Occidental.
The agreement aims to offer SPAMAST employees easier access to financial resources, supporting their financial stability and well-being. Through this collaboration, eligible employees will have the opportunity to apply for salary loans under favorable terms facilitated by Tagum Cooperative, a well-established cooperative in the region.
SPAMAST’s administration expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting its potential to enhance employee welfare by providing financial solutions tailored to their needs. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both SPAMAST and Tagum Cooperative, underscoring the importance of this initiative in fostering a supportive work environment.
