This week, we reflect on the value of Diligence with Focus—a principle that reminds us to pursue our work with excellence and intention. Like the ants in the well-known fable, we are called to be hardworking and prepared, even without constant supervision. The Scriptures tell us to learn from the ants’ ways—how they work diligently during summer to gather food for winter. As Buck Jacobs said, diligence is not about quick results but about steady, meaningful steps toward long-term goals. Sa SPAMAST, ang pagkugi dili lang sa pagsugod o pagkahuman sa trabaho, kundili sa pagpadayon niini nga may kalidad ug tumong.
We also draw inspiration from Noah, who built the ark with unwavering diligence and obedience despite distractions and mockery. He remained focused on the vision given to him and followed every instruction faithfully. Bisan pa sa kakapoy ug kalisod sa buluhaton, wala siya nawala sa direksyon. His story teaches us that true diligence may be difficult and unnoticed at first, but its impact can last for generations. As we fulfill our tasks here at SPAMAST, let us not be swayed by distractions or discouraged by challenges. Let us fix our eyes on our mission and vision.
