Unlock Your Future with SPAMAST: Career Guidance and Entrance Examination Reach More Students in Davao Occidental

The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) recently conducted a Career Guidance Advocacy and Entrance Examination for senior high school students in Malita and Sta. Maria, Davao Occidental held last February 11 to 14,2025. The initiative aimed to assist graduating students in making informed career choices while providing them with an opportunity to qualify for higher education at SPAMAST.

A total of 466 senior high school students from various secondary schools took the entrance examination. Alongside the testing, career coaching sessions were held, emphasizing SPAMAST’s flagship programs, including Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. These programs are designed to equip students with industry-relevant knowledge and skills, aligning with the region’s agricultural and marine resources.

The outreach covered several schools, namely Pedro Mariscal National High School, Basiawan National High School, Heracleo Casco Memorial High School, and Tubalan National High School. SPAMAST faculty and staff engaged with students, guiding them on potential career paths and opportunities available at the institution.

Through this initiative, SPAMAST continues its commitment to providing quality education and preparing future professionals who will contribute to the development of the agriculture and marine industries in the region. SPAMAST will continue to visit other schools in various municipalities, especially in far-flung areas, to ensure that all students have the opportunity for Universal Access to Quality Education.
