The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) proudly welcomed its newly-hired faculty members and newly-promoted administrative personnel during an Oath-Taking Ceremony held on February 27, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Office of the President.
Presided over by Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, SUC President III of the institution, the ceremony marked a significant milepost for the institution as it recognized individuals stepping into higher roles and new educators joining the academic community.
The newly promoted administrative personnel were:
Dawn Aguadera-Limao – Information Officer III;
May Franz S. Remoto – Administrative Officer V;
Hannah Leigh M. Cantomayor – Administrative Officer V;
The newly hired faculty members were:
Dr. Mayjury P. Garcia – Instructor III;
James Louis A. Moreno – Instructor I;
Mae Rhasol M. Pagal – Instructor I;
Evangeline D. Vertudazo – Instructor I;
Dondo T. Dano – Instructor I;
Christelyn F. Mangaga – Instructor I;
Maurine Joy B. Apsay – Instructor I;
Justin F. Biboso – Instructor I;
Julita T. Pamat – Instructor I;
In her address, Dr. Bontia emphasized the importance of dedication, integrity, and service to the institution, encouraging the appointees to uphold SPAMAST’s values in their respective roles.
Responding to the message of the President, Dawn Aguadera-Limao, Information Officer III, expressed her gratitude for the trust given to them, vowing to serve the institution with excellence and commitment. Meanwhile, Dr. Mayjury P. Garcia, Instructor III, highlighted the responsibility that comes with their new roles and assured their dedication to upholding the standards of quality education at SPAMAST.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment from all employees to serve with passion and excellence in their new capacities. With these appointments, SPAMAST continues to strengthen its workforce, fostering growth and innovation in higher education for the benefit of its students and the community.
