𝑀𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝒶, 𝒟𝒶𝓋𝒶𝑜 𝒪𝒸𝒸𝒾𝒹𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒶𝓁 – 𝒜𝓊𝑔𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝟤𝟫, 𝟤𝟢𝟤𝟦– The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) held an important oath-taking ceremony today for 33 newly hired faculty members. The event, which took place at the SPAMAST Auditorium in Malita, was presided over by SPAMAST President, Dr. Lynette A. Bontia.
These new faculty members will be assigned to the the Main Campus and various extension classes throughout Davao Occidental, further strengthening SPAMAST’s commitment to delivering quality education across the region.
Dr. Bontia, in her message, highlighted the critical role that educators play in the development of students and the broader community. She underscored SPAMAST’s mission to provide accessible and excellent education, and how the new faculty members are integral to achieving this goal.
During the ceremony, the new faculty members were led in the oath of office by Dr. Bontia, pledging to uphold the institution’s values and contribute to its mission. This addition to the academic workforce is a strategic move to support SPAMAST’s expanding programs in agriculture, business, marine sciences, and other areas critical to regional growth.
