SPAMAST Unveils New Infrastructure Projects with Inaugural Blessing Ceremony

SPAMAST reached another milestone with the official blessing and inauguration of its latest infrastructure projects at the Malita campus, Davao Occidental, on February 3, 2025. The newly established 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 and the 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 (𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲) were formally opened in a ceremony attended by SPAMAST officials, faculty members, and staff. 

SPAMAST President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia led the inauguration, highlighting the institution’s commitment to enhancing research, environmental sustainability, and student welfare. The Aquamarine Research and Ecotourism Station and Learning Site is expected to serve as a hub for marine and aquatic studies while promoting ecotourism initiatives in the region. 

Meanwhile, the Residence Hall (Dormitory) aims to provide a comfortable and conducive living space for students, especially those from distant areas.
