SPAMAST SWEAT Program 2026 Promotes Employee Wellness Through Invitational Friendship Games

The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) successfully conducted the Sports and Wellness for Employees in Action (SWEAT) Program 2026 on February 4, 2026, at the SPAMAST campus in Malita, Davao Occidental, as part of the celebration of its 44th Founding Anniversary.

Carrying the theme “Employees Wellness Through Gender-Responsive Sports and Development,” the SWEAT Program once again underscored SPAMAST’s commitment to fostering a healthy, inclusive, and supportive work environment for its employees through sports and physical activities.

A highlight of the activity was the invitational friendship games, which strengthened camaraderie and inter-agency cooperation. Participating partner agencies included Davao del Sur State College, Mariano Peralta National High School, and the Malita Police Station – Philippine National Police (PNP). SPAMAST employees actively joined the tournament and competed alongside the invited partners in the spirit of sportsmanship and solidarity.

The invitational friendship games concluded with high-energy matches and outstanding performances from all participating teams, showcasing sportsmanship and teamwork across agencies.

Beyond competition, the event served as a platform for promoting gender-responsive participation in sports and reinforcing the value of wellness as an integral part of employee development.

Through the SWEAT Program, SPAMAST continues to recognize the vital role of employee well-being in achieving institutional excellence while nurturing stronger partnerships with local educational institutions and government agencies.
