SPAMAST Strengthens Legal Insight Among Employees with RACCS Seminar

The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) successfully conducted a Seminar-Workshop on the “Rules on Administrative Cases in Civil Service 2017” on August 29-30, 2024. The event was held at the SPAMAST Lecture Hall in Malita, Davao Occidental and was organized by the Legal Services Office headed by Atty. Trina Faye Ladores.

The seminar featured distinguished guest speaker Atty. Carlos Vincent Trinidad, a State Solicitor II from the Office of the Solicitor General of the Philippines. Atty. Trinidad provided in-depth discussions on the legal frameworks governing administrative cases within the civil service, offering valuable insights into the processes and implications of such cases for government employees.

The seminar-workshop aimed to enhance the understanding of SPAMAST employees regarding the rules and procedures in handling administrative cases, thereby ensuring that they are better equipped to navigate the legal aspects of their roles within the civil service.

During the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions and clarify various legal issues related to work policies. The presence of Atty. Trinidad allowed employees to receive direct guidance from a seasoned legal expert, further enriching their knowledge and ensuring that they are informed about the rules of the civil service law.

The event underscored SPAMAST’s commitment to fostering a legally informed workforce, equipped with the necessary tools to uphold the standards of public service and governance.
