(SOFA) in Little Baguio, Malita, Davao Occidental. This extension activity was held in line with the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, emphasizing the institution’s role in delivering responsive and people-centered public service.

The morning session began with a solemn invocation led by Franz Jeemson Tan, RAgr., followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Malita Hymn, and SPAMAST Hymn. SOFA President Eucel P. Aquera warmly welcomed participants, setting the tone for a day of knowledge exchange. Program highlights included the Inspirational Message from Fr. Pierre Samson, PME, and a presentation on the BSABE Program in SPAMAST by Engr. Doreen Mae D. Gayo, which underscored the institution’s proactive role in advancing agricultural engineering education. Other key inputs included the Status of Adlai Production by Engr. Sidney Jian Villegas, Market Opportunities of Adlai by RAgr. Tan, and the AMTEC Experience shared by Engr. Ellthon I. Turtor.

The afternoon session featured the much-anticipated demonstration of the fabricated Adlai milling machine, facilitated by Engr. Ellthon I. Turtor and Engr. Leo C. Radores, MS. Participants engaged in an open forum to clarify technical aspects and share local insights, followed by motivational messages from Engr. Allan Z. Janson and RAgr. Angela Jo. Jocoy, who also delivered the closing message. The program concluded with the presentation of training results, a sharing session from participants, and a photo opportunity that captured the spirit of collaboration and innovation.

Through this initiative, SPAMAST continues to strengthen its role as a catalyst for sustainable development—bridging technology, education, and community needs. By aligning its programs with the values of the Civil Service Commission’s 125th anniversary, the institution highlights its mission of service excellence and its commitment to promoting local agricultural enterprises like Adlai as viable economic opportunities for farmers and communities in Davao Occidental.
