SPAMAST employees gathered on January 6, 2025, at the SPAMAST Auditorium for the institution’s opening convocation titled “2025 SPAMAST Strategic Directions and Strengthening of Institutional Processes.” The event highlighted the institution’s commitment to achieving university status and outlined key objectives under its 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.
SPAMAST President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia led the presentation of the institution’s 2025 General Strategic Directions, focusing on the vision of transitioning into Davao Occidental State University. Her presentation emphasized strategic initiatives to advance SPAMAST’s mission and improve institutional performance in key areas.
Atty. Ophelia C. Delute, SPAMAST’s Planning Officer, detailed the physical targets for the year, ensuring alignment with the institution’s overall goals. Meanwhile, Mr. Edwin G. Ostique, OIC-Chief Administrative Officer, presented the Program Receipts and Expenditures and the Major Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) for 2025, providing transparency and clarity on the financial outlook.
For academic concerns, Dr. Marlyn B. Llameg, Vice President for Academic Affairs, outlined the 2025 academic priorities and initiatives that aim to enhance education quality and accessibility. On the other hand, Dr. Edelyn S. Albiso, Vice President for Administration and Finance, discussed key directions for administrative concerns, including efforts to strengthen operational efficiency.
