Beijing, China – April 10, 2025 – Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, President of the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), participated in the prestigious “Agenda for the Exchange and Signing Ceremony” held at Jiaxing University in Beijing, China.
The event brought together presidents and representatives from various Philippine State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to strengthen academic collaboration and foster international partnerships with Jiaxing University.
Dr. Bontia, along with fellow SUC leaders, represented SPAMAST in formalizing agreements that aim to enhance student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and other academic engagements between the Philippines and China.
The ceremony marked a significant step in promoting global academic cooperation and expanding opportunities for SPAMAST in international higher education.
