On September 9, 2025, SPAMAST President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, together with SPAMAST officials and the IFMS Team, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Adelan B. De Arce, Mayor of Sarangani, Davao Occidental. The visit underscored the institution’s commitment to building strong partnerships with local government units in support of accessible and quality education.
After the courtesy call, a turnover ceremony was conducted for the SPAMAST-Sarangani Extension Class. Dr. Bontia, alongside her team, officially turned over one classroom, complete with tables, a whiteboard, and armchairs, which will serve as additional learning facilities for students in the municipality.
Mayor De Arce expressed his appreciation for SPAMAST’s continuous efforts to extend educational opportunities in Sarangani, noting that such initiatives strengthen the foundation for community growth and development. Dr. Bontia also emphasized that education remains a vital investment, not only for the youth but also for the future of the entire province.
The successful turnover ceremony highlighted the collective efforts of SPAMAST leadership, the IFMS Team, and the local government in fostering educational advancement and ensuring that students in Sarangani, Davao Occidental, are equipped with the necessary tools for academic success.
