The National Association of SUC Secretaries, Inc., in collaboration with Palawan State University and co-hosted by Western Philippines University, held its annual conference and general assembly on October 2-4, 2024, in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. With the theme “Secretaries in Action: Challenges and Transformations,” the event gathered secretaries from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) nationwide.
SPAMAST was represented by Ms. Dawn Aguadera Limao, Board Secretary II, and the institution’s College Secretary. Alongside her were board and college secretaries from different SUCs, all engaged in meaningful discussions and collaborative efforts to strengthen administrative services in their respective institutions.
The conference addressed the evolving roles and challenges SUC secretaries face, focusing on their adaptability and the transformations occurring in higher education administration. Experts shared insights into leadership, innovation, and best practices for enhancing the efficiency of academic institutions.
The event fostered camaraderie and networking among participants, encouraging shared experiences and strategies to address the unique demands of their roles. The attendees also explored the natural beauty of Palawan, rounding out the experience with a balance of learning and leisure.
