
The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) actively participated in the culmination of the 88th Araw ng Malita on November 17, 2025, held at the New Malita Gym, Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental. The institution’s presence highlighted its continued support to local government initiatives and community-driven festivities.
During the program, SPAMAST received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its contribution to the celebration. The award was formally accepted by the SPAMAST President, Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, who represented the institution with pride and gratitude. SPAMAST employees also took part in the motorcade and attended the culmination activities, showcasing solidarity with the municipality and strengthening the institution’s community engagement efforts.
SPAMAST’s active involvement in the Araw ng Malita celebration reflects its commitment to fostering community partnership, cultural appreciation, and public participation.
In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this engagement contributes to SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting inclusive community participation, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthened collaboration between SPAMAST and local government units.
