SPAMAST Joins 2025 SUC-ACAP Biennial Conference in Bohol

The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) actively participated in the 2025 SUC-ACAP, Inc. Biennial Conference and General Assembly held on August 27–29, 2025 at the Metro Center Hotel, C.P. Garcia, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

With the theme, “Future-Proofing Agriculture Education: Fostering Smart, Sustainable, and Inclusive Agriculture”, the conference gathered leaders and educators from state universities and colleges across the country to discuss strategies in advancing agricultural education amidst global challenges.

Representing SPAMAST was President Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, together with Prof. John Ponteras, Dean of the Institute of Agricultural Science and Development Communication; Prof. Eldum Limao, Program Head of the BS Agriculture program; and Prof. Imelda Mariano, faculty member of the same institute.

Their participation underscored SPAMAST’s commitment to strengthening agricultural education, promoting innovation, and contributing to the development of smart and sustainable practices in the field of agriculture.
