SPAMAST IPGS Showcases Research Excellence at International Scientific Congress

The Institute of Professional and Graduate Studies (IPGS) of SPAMAST marked another milestone in academic innovation as graduate student Glemae R. Ramos presented her research at the 17th International Congress on Scientific Research, China to Adriatic, held virtually from December 5–7, 2025 and hosted by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University in Van, Türkiye. Ramos delivered the study “Mathematics Motivation and Its Relationship to the Mathematics Performance of Junior High School Students,” co-authored with Aldwin T. Miranda, who also served as her research adviser. The event gathered scholars across regions, reinforcing global dialogue on education, science, and research impact.

The presentation highlighted critical insights into how students’ motivation influences their academic performance in mathematics—an issue that educational institutions worldwide continue to address. By examining the interplay between learner motivation and academic outcomes, the study offered timely implications for enhancing instructional practices, strengthening learner engagement, and supporting evidence-based reforms in mathematics education. Delegates commended the relevance of the research, particularly its contribution to ongoing efforts toward improving learning environments in junior high schools.

In closing, the participation of SPAMAST through its IPGS graduate researcher underscored the institution’s commitment to advancing knowledge production and engaging with the global academic community. More importantly, the study aligns with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, as it advocates for improved learning outcomes and equitable access to quality instruction. It also supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as SPAMAST’s representation in an international scholarly forum fosters collaboration and shared learning across borders.
