The SPAMAST Administrative Building Conference Room was abuzz with activity on September 12, 2024, as it hosted an important orientation for the CSC Honors and Awards Program (HAP). The event was graced by Davao Occidental and Davao del Sur CSC Provincial Director Richard Ortiz, who discussed the purpose, guidelines, and procedures for packaging nominations for the prestigious awards.
Dr. Lynette A. Bontia, President of SPAMAST, welcomed Director Ortiz and expressed her appreciation for the ongoing support provided by the CSC in this initiative. Dr. Bontia also took the opportunity to reflect on her experience with the Honors and Awards Program during the tenure of former SPAMAST President Dr. Irvin C. Generalao, where she served as a member of the HAP Committee.
Key figures from SPAMAST attended the orientation, including Dr. Marlyn B. Llameg, Chairperson of the SPAMAST PRAISE Committee and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Members of this year’s HAP Committee, led by HRMO Atty. Paloma Grado, and prospective nominees for the awards were also present. The event was organized by the Office of Human Resource Management of SPAMAST.
The session was crucial in preparing SPAMAST’s nominees for the Honors and Awards Program, ensuring they understand the requirements and can effectively showcase their achievements.
