Malita, Davao Occidental — The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) convened its workforce for a transformative two-day workshop on administrative excellence, held on September 11–12, 2025 at the Fishing Village in Malita. Anchored on the theme “𝑾𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒚,” the program underscored the institution’s commitment to refining professional skills, strengthening workplace efficiency, and cultivating a culture of ethical service. Top administrators, faculty, and staff actively engaged in the sessions, emphasizing both competence and character as essential hallmarks of public service.
Spearheaded by the Human Resource Management Office, the workshop featured Ms. Dawn A. Limao, Director of the Public Relations and Information Office, as keynote resource speaker. Her sessions on professional communication, business writing, and records management provided participants with practical tools and strategies to uphold administrative excellence. Interactive workshops allowed attendees to apply lessons immediately, ensuring that outputs reflected both technical knowledge and organizational values.
The second day placed emphasis on etiquette and workplace professionalism, guided by Dr. Janet R. Octura, Vice President for Administration and Finance, and further reinforced by reflective activities. Participants revisited core values of courtesy, respect, and service, aligning these principles with their roles in the institution. The event concluded with closing remarks from Atty. Paloma G. Grado, HRMO III, who commended the participants for their active involvement and reiterated SPAMAST’s vision of fostering a disciplined and service-driven community. By weaving technical mastery with values-driven practices, the workshop not only enhanced administrative competence but also reaffirmed SPAMAST’s dedication to cultivating a legacy of service rooted in honor and integrity.
