In a bid to promote wellness and healthy lifestyle habits among its workforce, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) hosted a Diet Meal Plan Seminar on March 4, 2026, at the SPAMAST Founder’s Hall, Malita campus.
Organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), the seminar is part of the institution’s Employees Wellness Program, aiming to equip staff with practical knowledge and strategies for maintaining a balanced diet and overall health.
The session was led by Ms. Kim A. Fernandez, a Health and Wellness Specialist from Herbalife, who shared insights on creating personalized meal plans, understanding nutritional labels, and adopting sustainable eating habits that fit a busy work lifestyle. Employees actively participated in discussions and asked questions about integrating wellness into their daily routines.
“This seminar not only teaches us how to eat healthier, but also motivates us to prioritize our well-being, which ultimately enhances our productivity and quality of life,” said one of the participants.
By fostering healthy practices among employees, SPAMAST underscores its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, ensuring that the institution’s human resources are empowered to lead healthier, more productive lives.
