SPAMAST successfully conducted a two-day Seminar-Workshop on Procurement Planning and Implementation on November 10–11, 2025, gathering student leaders and representatives from various academic and administrative units. Held as part of the institution’s continuing commitment to transparent and accountable governance, the workshop provided essential knowledge and skills on effective procurement processes within the institution.
Organized by the Procurement Services Unit in coordination with the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), the activity aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of procurement laws, guidelines, and best practices. Topics included procurement planning, project requirements, bidding procedures, and ethical practices to ensure integrity and efficiency in institutional procurement.
Student leaders were given the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and simulations that enhanced their competencies in financial stewardship and public accountability. This initiative not only strengthened internal processes but also empowered students to become informed stakeholders in promoting responsible governance.
In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this initiative contributes to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions by fostering transparency, accountability, and participatory governance within SPAMAST, and SDG 4: Quality Education through capacity building and skill development among student leaders.
