In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) Buhangin Annex spearheaded a tree-growing activity in partnership with the TESDA Training Center at Barangay Buhangin on March 19,2025.
Held in Barangay Buhangin, Malita, Davao Occidental, the event was actively participated in by SPAMAST Buhangin employees, who planted Robusta coffee seedlings as part of the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
This initiative highlights the importance of environmental conservation while also promoting women’s empowerment through meaningful contributions to ecological preservation. The collaboration between SPAMAST and TESDA reflects a shared dedication to fostering sustainable development in the community.
