SPAMAST Advances Digitalization’s Efforts with Institutional Information Systems Turnover

Malita, Davao Occidental – The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) marked a milestone in its digital transformation with the formal turnover and acceptance of its newly developed information systems on February 28, 2025, at the SPAMAST Lecture Hall. Spearheaded by the Management Information Systems (MIS) Unit, the Procurement Request Management System (PRMS) and Graduate Tracer System (GTS) were introduced to streamline administrative processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. The event included system presentations, hands-on training, and the official signing of turnover and acceptance certifications, signifying institutional commitment to digital innovation.

Designed to improve workflow efficiency, the PRMS aims to expedite procurement procedures, while the GTS enhances alumni tracking and data management. Participants had the opportunity to explore these systems firsthand, ensuring smooth adoption and integration into institutional processes. The turnover and acceptance formalities reaffirm SPAMAST’s dedication to leveraging technology for optimized service delivery, reinforcing its commitment to modernization and continuous improvement in higher education administration.
