As part of SPAMAST’s 42nd founding anniversary, the second Davao Occidental Multidisciplinary Research Conference is happening today, February 7,2024 at SPAMAST Auditorium, Malita, Davao Occidental.
Research is one of SPAMAST’s four-folds functions. Hence, as a higher education institution promoting knowledge transfer, innovation, and research-based solutions; this multidisciplinary research conference provides faculty, students of undergraduate and graduate studies, alumni, and researchers from across the region a chance to share relevant research in two thematic areas. Agriculture, Fisheries, Natural Resources, and Resilience are the first thematic areas, while social, cultural development, and health are the second.
This research conference provides a platform for researchers to present their findings and receive constructive feedback from experts in their field. They also allow for networking and collaboration opportunities, which can lead to new research ideas and partnerships. Additionally, attending conferences can broaden one’s knowledge and perspective on a particular topic, contributing to the advancement of the field as a whole.
