RAISE Program conducts Technology Transfer Master course

In line with the implementation of the RAISE Program Phase 2, implementers invited SPAMAST to participate in the three-day training workshop entitled “Technology Transfer Mastercourse: An Echo-Training for Scaling Innovation, Empowering Communities” on September 17-19, 2025, at Panorama Summit Hotel, Davao City. The said training was deemed to support grassroots innovators, researchers, technology generators, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the agriculture, aquaculture, and natural resources (AANR) sectors by drawing from the learnings and best practices of the five national-level masterclasses: Intellectual Property Masterclass (IPMC), AgriBusiness Masterclass (ABMC), Technology Commercialization Masterclass (TCMS), Technology Promotions Masterclass (TPMS), and Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator Masterclass (ATBI MC).
Along the circle of participants composed of technology generators and technology transfer officers, SPAMAST faculty-researchers, and Engr. Leo Radores, Engr. Allan Janson, Jr., Prof. Dandy Dalina, and Prof. Grecilda Limboc wholeheartedly participated in the event. Their commitment to the activity contributed to the realization of the RAISE Project deliverables. As the training went on, key topics such as product development and incubation, technology, and market validation, TRL/IRL assessment, invention spotting, PCT processes, licensing, and negotiation, pre-commercialization reports, marketing strategies, IEC crafting tools, and Technology/business pitching was discussed, instilling a thorough overview of the activity’s objectives.
By transferring these insights to the local level, this echo-training aims to improve local capabilities for commercialization and technology transfer, enabling innovators to eventually reach markets, develop innovations, and support equitable and sustainable economic growth.
