Malita, Davao Occidental – The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) hosted the 4H (Head, Heart, Hand, Health) Club Orientation and Election of Officers on December 12, 2024, at the Buhangin Annex campus.
The event, with the theme “Community Organizing through Youth Empowerment,” brought together students from the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE), and Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB) programs.
Facilitated by Dexter Neil B. Guden, the orientation highlighted the 4H Club’s core values of nurturing youth leadership, community involvement, and personal development. Participants were encouraged to become active agents of change in their communities through meaningful engagement in agriculture and related fields.
The election of officers followed, with new leaders set to spearhead initiatives promoting youth empowerment and community development. The program also included activities aimed at fostering camaraderie among students and inspiring them to take an active role in nation-building.
The SPAMAST administration continues to support such initiatives that emphasize youth empowerment and leadership, contributing to the holistic development of its students.
