The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) proudly joins the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in celebrating the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM). This observance, in line with Presidential Proclamation No. 647, declares October as National Statistics Month every year.
The theme for this year, “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation,” underscores the pivotal role of technology in enhancing the accessibility, accuracy, and use of data for nation-building.
These efforts highlight digital tools’ critical role in transforming how statistics are collected, analyzed, and applied to support informed decision-making, especially in agriculture, fisheries, marine sciences, and social services.
Through its participation, SPAMAST reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making and leveraging digital transformation to contribute to the country’s inclusive growth and sustainable development.
