ESO Holds Initial Stakeholders Consultation for Extension Agenda 2025-2029 Revision

The Extension Services Office successfully conducted the Initial Stakeholders Consultation for the Revision of the SPAMAST Extension Agenda 2025-2029 on March 26, 2025, at SPAMAST, Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental. The event gathered 19 agencies, associations, and institutions from across the province, reflecting the strong commitment of local stakeholders to shaping the future direction of SPAMAST’s extension programs. This consultation served as a platform to discuss priority areas and emerging needs to ensure that the institution’s initiatives remain relevant and responsive to the community.
The said event was led by Mr. Kher Dave H. Doños, the Extension Director, and supported by his dedicated staff, the event proceeded smoothly, fostering a collaborative and open discussion among participants. Stakeholders actively engaged in identifying key challenges and opportunities in various sectors, particularly in agriculture, aquaculture, and rural development. Their insights and recommendations will play a crucial role in refining SPAMAST’s extension agenda, aligning it with the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
The consultation marks the beginning of a series of engagements aimed at strengthening partnerships and enhancing the effectiveness of SPAMAST’s extension programs. With the active participation of stakeholders, the institution is poised to develop a more inclusive, sustainable, and impactful extension roadmap for 2025-2029.
