Employees Groove Back in Time at Fellowship Night for 125th Civil Service Anniversary

The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) brought together employees for a night of camaraderie and celebration during its Fellowship Night in line with the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

With the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan”, the evening turned into a festive showcase of retro fashion and entertainment. Employees came dressed in vibrant 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s attire, bringing nostalgic flair and lively energy to the celebration.

The event featured a sumptuous dinner, live performances from a band, and the infectious humor of a stand-up comedian, filling the night with laughter, music, and good memories. The gathering served as a meaningful break from daily work routines, highlighting not only the dedication of public servants but also the importance of fellowship and unity within the institution.

Through this event, SPAMAST reaffirmed its commitment to honoring the men and women of the civil service whose dedication continues to fuel the institution’s growth and service to the community.

By celebrating camaraderie, wellness, and appreciation for public servants, SPAMAST’s Fellowship Night also contributed to the attainment of SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting work-life balance and mental wellness, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by fostering unity, integrity, and a stronger culture of public service within the institution.
