Dr. Ariel San Jose Named Finalist for Prestigious DOST National Academy of Science and Technology Award

Dr. Ariel E. San Jose, representing the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), has been recognized as a finalist for the 2024 Julian A. Banzon Medal. The award, given by the Department of Science and Technology’s National Academy of Science and Technology (DOST-NAST), honors exceptional achievements in applied research held at Bicutan, Taguig City on September 23, 2024.

Dr. San Jose’s research, titled “Academic Integrity of Students during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Mixed Method Analysis,” was selected as a finalist in the prestigious Paper Presentation category. The award ceremony took place at the Philippine Scientist Heritage Center, within the DOST Compound in Bicutan, Taguig City. Dr. San Jose’s recognition underscores his dedication to academic excellence and his commitment to fostering integrity in education, particularly during the global health crisis.
