Bloodletting and Donation Event at SPAMAST in Cooperation with Philippine Red Cross

Malita, Davao Occidental — On May 29, 2024, a successful bloodletting and donation drive was held at the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), General Education Building, Malita campus. The event was a collaborative effort between the SPAMAST Medical and Dental Office and the Philippine Red Cross, aimed at saving lives and promoting health awareness.

The initiative was spearheaded by Prof. Joeper Abella, head of the SPAMAST Medical and Dental Office, along with the Office of the National Service Training Program (NSTP). The drive saw active participation from both students and employees of SPAMAST, reflecting the institution’s strong sense of community and social responsibility.

Participants expressed their willingness and enthusiasm to contribute to the life-saving cause. The collected blood units are expected to bolster the Philippine Red Cross’s supply, supporting medical emergencies and various patient needs across the region.
