The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region XI (BFAR XI), through its Human Resource Management Unit—Fisheries Scholarship Program, conducted a semestral monitoring and assessment of its scholars’ academic performance at the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) on February 21, 2025, at the Lecture Hall of SPAMAST’s Malita campus.
The event evaluated the scholars’ academic progress and supported their continued success in the program. BFAR XI representative Ms. Reissa D. Tarazona and her team led the assessment, engaging with students to discuss their performance and address any concerns.
Scholars from SPAMAST actively participated in the monitoring session, accompanied by faculty members of the Fisheries Program with their Dean, Prof. John Paul Pacyao.
The semestral assessment underscores BFAR XI’s commitment to nurturing future fisheries professionals. It ensures that scholars receive the necessary academic and institutional support to thrive in their studies and future careers in the fisheries sector.
