The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) recently conducted a Career Guidance Talk at Mariano Peralta National High School, providing Grade 12, specifically the Humanities and Social Sciences students with valuable insights into academic programs and career opportunities. Mrs. Dawn D. Aguadera-Limao introduced SPAMAST’s diverse offerings, with a strong emphasis on its flagship programs, highlighting the institution’s commitment to quality education and industry relevance.
Faculty experts including Mr. Dexter Roquero on Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Engineer Elthon Turtor on Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE), and Professor John Ponteras on Agriculture (BSA), then presented specialized programs. Each speaker detailed their respective courses, discussing curriculum highlights, hands-on training, and career pathways in their fields, encouraging students to explore sustainable agriculture, marine sciences, and agribusiness opportunities.
